TURBEVILLE INSURANCE AGENCY HIRES JACK GODBOLD TO SPEARHEAD SMALL COMMERCIAL INSURANCE DIVISION

Columbia, SC (September 21, 2018) – Turbeville Insurance Agency (TIA) recently hired Jack Godbold to the company’s executive team as the Small Commercial Lines Director. In this role, Godbold will also oversee many of TIA’s high valued homeowner policies. Godbold comes to the agency with a 28-year background in the insurance industry. His career began in insurance software development with PMSC then shifted to the role of an insurance agent in 2002. He was most recently employed by HUB International.
“I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Jack for over 15 years,” said TIA president and owner Bill Turbeville. “We were mentored by many of the same individuals throughout our careers, and I know Jack will be a fantastic addition to our growing team.”
Godbold is a graduate of The University of South Carolina. In addition to his insurance license, Godbold currently holds a Broker’s license and is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance. He has served numerous roles within the community including: Member and Vice President of the Columbia Sertoma Club, President of AC Flora PTSO, Board member for Friends of the Richland County Public Library, Board of Trustees for the Richland County Public Library, among others. Godbold is married with four children and is an active member at Trinity Cathedral.
